Enrched Air Diver

Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. It's no surprise that Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI specialty.

Wreck Diver

Whether they were sunk on purpose to create an artificial reef for divers, or by accident, shipwrecks are fascinating windows into the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are exciting to explore and usually full of aquatic life. Each wreck offers a chance for a discovery, to unravel a mystery or to uncover something others have overlooked. The PADI Wreck Diver specialty course is popular because it offers exciting adventures as you follow responsible wreck diving procedures. If you are at least 15 years old and already have a PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher level, you can enroll in the Wreck Diver specialty course.

Equipment Specialist

Don't miss a dive due to minor problems with your diving equipment. Whether it's a missing O-ring, a cut on your wetsuit, or a broken fin strap, the PADI Equipment Specialist course teaches you how to handle basic repairs and adjustments. Plus, you'll learn more about how your equipment works, allowing you to feel more comfortable and better prepared to take care of your investment. If you are at least 10 years old and are certified at least as a PADI (Junior) Scuba Diver, you can enroll in the Equipment Specialist course.

DPV Diver

If scuba diving is similar to a nice walk in a park, diving with a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) is like exploring a neighborhood on an (electric) bicycle. DPVs, also called underwater scooters, allow you to see more, save air and go from one point to another faster, with great fun.

Emergency Oxygen Provider

Knowing how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in the event of a diving emergency. The PADI® Emergency Oxygen Provider course prepares you to provide rescue and teaches you to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses that require emergency oxygen. This is an excellent course for scuba divers, boat crews, lifeguards, free divers, Mermaids or anyone who spends time in and near the water. There are no age restrictions or water sessions.
